
Paducah Sweeps Three Game Series
WON THREE STRAIGHTS.

Ben Boyd’s negro baseball team defeated the Memphis Monarchs three straight games, sustaining the reputation of the local team as the best in this part of the country. The first game was played Thursday and resulted in a score of 6 to 7, the second played Friday was a shut out at a score of 7 to 0 and the game Saturday resulted in a victory for the home team by a score of 9 to 2.
